Sand play provides an excellent opportunity for holistic development in a fun and engaging way. It enhances creativity and imagination as well as developing skills in mathematics through exploring concepts like volume, capacity and weight. It also helps children to develop fine and gross motor skills, by encouraging them to use a range of tools.
