Brief

The school had contacted us for a visit from Martin as they wanted to develop one of their outdoor areas to turn into a playground for their pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage. We had worked with the school on playground projects in the past, so the school knew they were in good hands.

Solution

Our talented playground design team worked with the school to come up with a bespoke solution that worked well in their and space and for their budget. This involved utilizing their existing multi-level space to create an area where children can burn off their energy while developing their upper-body strength, agility and fitness.

Project Details

This bespoke climbing unit has two main features – a slide, to provide vestibular output, and a climbing ramp, with climbing holds and rope to help children develop their motor skills and upper body strength.

We also installed Luxury Artificial Grass surfacing to the area; the area previously had uneven and old wet pour that was a trip hazard, so we created a soft and even finish for the children.

Result

The area has been completely transformed and brightened up with green and blue artificial grass, colourful climbing holds and red slide and entry panel.
