Installation of Herringbone Drainage
We have been working with Cullingworth Village Primary School to create a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) that can facilitate sports matches and activities all year round.
This new 30m x 20m sports facility includes:
⛹️Artificial Sports Grass - with markings for football, netball and basketball markings
🥅Senior Goal Ends - with goal posts and basketball hoop, installed within Twin Wire Mesh Fencing
✏️Personalised Logo
The new surface was installed with base works, consisting of 50mm type 1 MOT and 50mm granno base, on top of a herringbone drainage system. We always recommend this type of drainage solution when installing a MUGA onto an existing grass area to prevent puddling in the wetter months.
