Shaftesbury High School is a secondary special needs school based in Harrow. The school caters to a wide range of learning difficulties and prides itself on providing students with high quality education and pastoral care. We have worked with Shaftesbury High School on numerous projects, including Phase 1 - Development of Sixth Form Area, Phase 2 - Development of Pond Area, Indoor Sports Markings and Thermoplastic MUGA.

Area of installation

Phase 1 - Sixth Form Area

For the first phase of this project, the school wanted to develop the outside space for their 6th form facility, creating a space that their college students could use to relax and socialise while providing them with outdoor fitness equipment. To achieve this, we installed Luxury Artificial Grass surfacing to brighten up the area and make it a space that can be used all year round, and Outdoor Gym Equipment.

Phase 2 - Pond Area

For the second phase, the school wanted our help with improving their pond area and making it a more enjoyable space for their pupils and make it more inclusive. With this in mind, we created an outdoor viewing area that children could use as a space to observe nature, with planting area and access ramp for wheelchair users.
