A Hammock is a perfect addition to any outdoor learning space or sensory garden, offering gentle movement to pupils, promoting relaxation and self-regulation through the swinging motion. This also supports the sensory system by providing gentle vestibular stimulation.
Hammocks are also great to include in Sensory Circuits that consist of 'alerting', 'organising' and 'calming' , by incorporating them into the 'calming' element of the circuit.
