What a transformation🤩🤩
This recent installation of a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) & Running Track completely revived this tired sports area at Ashbeach Primary School based in Huntingdon.

Installed is our Sports Grass with Football Markings, Running Track, Junior Sports Mesh Fencing

with two Access Gates and luxury Artificial Grass surround.

To begin the installation the area required some preparation, ready for the brand-new sports area to be fitted. The preparation included the removal and disposal of approx. 100m of existing timber fencing within the area.

The area was built up with a base material to create a fantastic new smooth and consistent sports surface for the children to enjoy all year round. The areas of real turf were installed with a weed suppressant membrane and compacted stone base creating a long-lasting consistent surface throughout. 

Once all the ground preparation took place, the next step was to lay the surfacing and erect the fencing. Ashbeach chose their MUGA Fencing in Green at 2m high (overall size of 35m x 25m), perfect for keeping the ball in play! Also included were two access gates, one double and one single.

This area has many benefits! Not only is it usable 365 days a year, but it also saves money on huge maintenance costs, promotes school fitness, is more durable than a mucky field, even playing surface to improve performance and reduce injury, games not cancelled due to the weather and so much more.

Spec:

The Sports Artificial Grass used is our 14mm pile height product, perfect for vigorous sports and play all year round. Artificial grass is cut and joined to fit area - 10 Year Product Guarantee.

The Luxury Play Grass used is our luxury 23mm pile height product.

Where artificial grass meets surrounding surface areas, the new surface will

be finished and integrated neatly.

24m x 13m Football Pitch in 14mm Sports Grass (Green)

Luxury Play Grass to be installed around the outer area of the Running Tracks.
